Sea Olympics

It is a Semester at Sea tradition to have an entire day dedicated to competition with students, faculty, and staff members. At the beginning of the voyage everyone is put into a “sea” according to their cabin numbers. My sea is the Bering Sea and our team color is blue. I was one of the team captains and our team name was the Bering Cudas Code Blue (on the ship a Code Blue is when someone blacks out or needs medical attention). There were many different games that people played some of them being Sock Wrestling, Tug-O-War, Syncronized Swimming, Lip Sync, Limbo, Relay, Eating Competition with rice and chopsticks, and soooo many more! My team did not do too well, but we did have a lot of fun competing and we ended up getting 2nd to last. So we will be the second to last off of the ship in Miami, which I am okay with because I LOVE the ship!!! Overall it was an awesome day and the entire day we were floating up the Suez Canal on our way to Egypt!!!
